Terms and Conditions About Your Membership Captain’s Club loyalty program membership is intended for individuals only. Membership is complimentary.
Tier Qualification Tier status is achieved or renewed based on the following annual criteria (January 1 through December 31):
Gold Level 1 -19 nights Platinum Level 20 + nights
At the end of each calendar year, every member’s eligible room nights are set and their Captain’s Club membership level is updated based upon the ability to meet the specified nights required of each tier level. Should a member be unable to meet the required number of nights for each level within a given year, their respective tier status will be changed for the following year. For example, if a Captain’s Club member achieves Platinum level status in September 2012, that level will be maintained through December 31, 2013 and will only be lost should the member not achieve the minimum of 20 nights required for Platinum level in 2013.
Free Night Reward or $100 Gift Card Reward One Free Night Reward will be earned for every ten paid overnight stays. Free night benefits are intended for the use by the member only. Free night redemption is applicable for room rate only. Taxes, fees and other charges may apply and will be charged and due upon check-out. Or a $100 Visa Gift Card Reward will be earned for every ten paid overnight stays. Please allow up to four weeks to process your Visa Gift Card.
Reward Redemption Captain’s Club Members can check their reward balance at www.airtelplaza.com/rewards. Reward can be redeemed by email at email@example.com or at the Front Desk. Ten (10) paid overnight stays will earn you a One (1) Free Night Reward in a Preferred Collection Room or you can choose a $100 Visa Gift Card.
Defined Terms Qualifying Stays and Exclusion A Captain’s Club Member will earn one point per paid overnight stay at the hotel. One “Qualifying Stay” is a stay of one or more consecutive nights (whether or not a member checks out and checks back in again) during which time a Qualifying Member pays a Qualifying Rate for at least one night during the stay. If a Captain’s Club Member is not named on the reservation prior to departure, the stay is not a Qualifying Stay. Stays prior to six (6) months from today are not Qualifying Stays. Reservations booked through an online travel website (Hotwire, Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, Travelocity, Orbitz, Booking.com, etc.) are excluded from earning points. Traded or bartered rooms are not eligible to earn awards. Qualifying Stays shall be determined by the sole discretion of Airtel Plaza Hotel. Membership number cannot be applied to multiple reservations for the same stay.
Qualifying Rate A “Qualifying Rate” is a rate available to the general public for such night, but specifically does not include the following rates: (1) tours series rates and charter rates (2) travel-industry staff rates; (3) any employee rates, employee family or employee friends discount rates; (4) other discounted rates; and (6) any complimentary, free, traded or bartered night stays, or any stays in connection with gift certificates or other awards or vouchers. Qualifying Rates shall be determined by the sole discretion of Airtel Plaza Hotel.
Qualifying Members A “Qualifying Member” is a registered Captain’s Club Member whose name appears on the room reservation and who pays for the room. If an individual member reserves and pays for more than one room, points are earned on a maximum of two rooms during such stay. Only one member per room, per stay, may receive points. If two or more members occupy the same room, points will be credited only to the member whose name appears on the room reservation. If more than one name is on a single room reservation, then at the time of check-out, members will advise the Airtel Plaza Hotel which member’s account number to credit the points. Members who have any past due balance owed to Airtel Plaza Hotel forfeit any points earned.
Structure and Duration of Program Airtel Plaza Hotel reserves the right to modify or discontinue this Captain’s Club Program at any time. All interpretations of these terms and conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Airtel Plaza Hotel. Points expire one year from date earned. These terms and conditions supersede all prior terms and conditions. Void where prohibited by law. Any income tax liability is the sole responsibility of the recipient. Additional restrictions may apply. Any questions concerning eligibility for Free Night Reward or Gift Card reward must be raised by guest prior to check-in.
