May Means Movies

Spring is in full swing and the weather is fine for movie watching under the stars. The L.A. area offers an array of outdoor cinema locations showcasing everything from classic movies to cult films to mainstream blockbusters. Join Eat|See|Hear at various locations every Saturday from May 4 - September 14 for an evening of music, food, movies, and fun. The best of the city’s food trucks will be providing epic edibles or you can bring your own. The 2019 season will include Crazy Rich Asians and Jordan Peele’s eerie directorial debut Get Out in May.

June features David Fincher’s iconic Fight Club along with a screening of The Greatest Showman for Pride Night. July will bring such classics as Home Alone, Beetlejuice, and Casablanca. Don’t miss two films in August that made cinema history: Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, and the Coen Brother’s darkly comedic, Oscar-winning gem Fargo. Also showing in August are two recently-added Criterion Collection selections: Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, and Stanley Kubrick’s chiller The Shining. Bring your four-legged canine friends to the party – a part of each ticket benefits the Best Friends Animal Society.
