Stars Light Up the 3rd Annual “Night on Broadway”

All along downtown L.A.’s Broadway corridor, its majestic historic theaters and the spaces in between will be filled with brilliant performers. Musicians, artists, national stars, acrobats, designers, and other creative talents will dazzle thousands of guests during “Night on Broadway” for one night only: Saturday, January 27, 2018’s performer lineup is one of the most spectacular, featuring such acts as “War” and “The B-52s.” This free arts and music festival began in 2015 as a celebration of Council member José Huizar’s "Bringing Back Broadway" economic development initiative, and has been held annually since, with attendance growing to 75,000 in 2017.

The event will take place at six historic theaters and various stages nearby. The theaters include the Globe, the theater at the Ace Hotel, the Orpheum, and the Palace. Performers include Dead Meadow, Sugar Candy Mountain, Rasputin’s Marionettes, Gia Gunn, Inner Wave, The Pantones, and the Tierra Blanca Dance Company. DJs will be on hand to kick out the jams, including Bounce House, David Oh, and Brian Starr, among many others. This promises to be one epic evening, so be sure to come out and join in the celebration.
