Los Angeles Ballet: The Nutcracker

A treasured holiday tradition, this annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s classic features all your favorites, along with some unique SoCal touches that places the setting as 1912 Los Angeles. Featuring Venice archways, bougainvillea, a Spanish-style home, and more, the ballet will be performed through December 29 at various venues throughout the area.

Holiday Light Festival Train Ride

Charming holiday scenes and tens of thousands of dazzling lights await you as you ride this mile-long track of the Griffith Park Train Rides. Also, don’t miss a visit to Santa’s Village and a photo with the jolly old elf himself! An ideal holiday family activity, the trains will run through December 30.
